Thanks to Teena in Toronto, I was alerted this evening that today has been my blogaversary. This makes two years!

As a hastily-conceived kind of celebration, I'm going to pose a challenge. Out of all those who provide a correct answer to it in the comments section to this post, I'll draw someone randomly to win a prize. What prize? I don't know. Something handmade, no doubt. Just include in your comment whether you are a quilter or yarn fondler (via crochet or knitting) or whatever else is your favorite creative endeavor. That may influence what I send you. Oh, and you need to be sure I can contact you via email or through your blog if you have one, so please provide that information, too.

Now for the challenge question:

If my Almost Amish Puzzle quilt was an actual puzzle, how many pieces would be in the box?

Take a look at the photo in the previous post to help you. You can either guesstimate or give me a calculated answer, but the answer must be exactly correct to go into the prize pool.

I'll draw the winner this coming Sunday, about noon Central Standard Time.

Best wishes!

  1. Happy B-versary!

If someone gave me an Almost Amish Quilt, I would want it to be in ONE piece, all finished since I don't quilt.

Good Luck to the quilters out there; there's no competition from me!

  2. The quilt is gorgeous. Happy blogaversary!! My guess is 240 pieces.

  3. Hi. I found your site from the Ks Quilters group. I have just begun to blog, Patrice Egging, Music and Ministry,

    My guess would be 256

  4. Happy blogiversary!

My guess is 240 (it's a gorgeous quilt).

I'm an occasional quilter, but mostly a knitter.
